As Deputy Mayor of London for Business, he served two successful terms championing economic growth, job creation, and international investment. During his tenure, he advanced workplace standards through the Mayor’s Good Work Standard and helped promote the London Living Wage.
In addition to chairing London & Partners, Rajesh led London’s Jobs & Skills Partnership Board and was Deputy Chair of the London Economic Action Partnership. Internationally, he represented London at major global forums such as the Urban20 Summit, part of the G20.
As the Founder of Fairgrowth, a dynamic ecosystem spanning strategic advisory, talent solutions, venture investment, and policy insights, Rajesh helps businesses achieve sustainable and inclusive growth.
Beyond business, Rajesh is deeply involved in philanthropy. He has supported young entrepreneurs through the Prince’s Trust, rural entrepreneurs via Oxfam, and women entrepreneurs through the Cherie Blair Foundation.
He also serves as Chair of Labour Friends of India, strengthening ties between the Labour Party and the British Indian community.
His contributions have been recognised with several honours, including an Honorary Fellowship from the University of East London and the Freedom of the City of London.
